June Wrap-Up

I want to start a new series where I wrap up my experiences per month in one blog post! So to wrap up June, I want to share with you some things I’ve been working on plus some packages I got!

First up, packages!

1. Pedigree Dog Food Samples

I have two cute dogs at home and I wanted them to try out some Pedigree samples (that’s specific for their weight class). Luckily, Pedigree Philippines offers free samples for your dog to try! I sent in the details of both my dogs and got this a few weeks later:

Inside each package contains a small pack of dry dog food, a small pouch of wet dog food, and a small booklet on feeding information. It was really interesting to receive these since I wanted to see how my dogs would react to wet dog food (as compared to their normal dry dog food portions).

You can get a sample hereΒ (for Philippine residences only)!

2. Books, books, and more books!

The next package I got was really exciting for me since I’ve been waiting for severalΒ months to receive it. I pre-ordered two books from Book Depository a couple of months back and it’s finally here!

It’s the 20th-anniversary copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone! It’s so pretty. I love everything about it.

I’m a proud Ravenclaw. #HousePride! While one of my best friends (Courtney) is a Slytherin. I bought her a copy as her birthday gift. (Don’t worry, she already saw it.)

Japan Trip 2k15

Last month, I went to the wonderful country of Japan (for the very first time)! I instantly fell in love with the country for many reasons. Let me take you with me as I look back on my trip with this blog post!

Day 1: November 18, 2015

I was so worried about today. We left the house really early to avoid traffic and the road blockings of the APEC. Luckily, we reached the airport on time just as the roads were about to be blocked. I was hoping thatΒ since we’re using ANA, we’d get to ride the R2-D2 plane…unfortunately, we didn’t. 😦

We left Manila at around 10 in the morning and arrived in Tokyo at around in the afternoon. We had two hours of waiting time before we needed to ride another plane for Osaka. I was just so wide-eyed, looking around and really not believing that I was in Japan! We looked around the airport while waiting and I saw my love:Β Tokyo Banana.Β Oh my gosh, these are so delicious and addicting. I remember when I first tasted it after one of my relatives brought it home as a souvenir. Love at first bite! Anyways, on the first day, we basically just went to the hotel and crashed.

( I bought three boxes on the last day, hehe.) [Top to bottom L – R: Original, Caramel, and Banana Shake] Original is still the best!

(We went to the 7-11 and Family Mart before we crashed, and everything is amazing there. I bought some milk and bread for breakfast, and went back to the hotel – which took less than five minutes of walking.)

Day 2: December 19, 2015

We left our hotel quite early to head to Kyoto to see the Autumn foliage. We rode the train to the Hankyu Arashiyama Station.
